“Thank You, Life”

Life is not always wrapped in roses; sometimes it arrives with thorns. Yet, every moment — whether sweet or bitter — holds a hidden lesson, a deeper meaning.

This poem is a humble tribute to those countless experiences that shape us, refine us, and remind us to walk with grace on the path of our karma.

Through storms and sunshine, we evolve — and that in itself is beautiful.

Thank you, Life,
for all the moments you’ve gifted me —
the ones wrapped in joy,
and the ones cloaked in sorrow.

You gave me smiles when I least expected,
and tears when I thought I was strong.
You brought people who praised me,
and others who turned away without reason.

You offered love like a gentle breeze,
and then tested me with storms of misunderstanding.
At times, I was lifted by blessings,
at others, shaken by silence and hurtful words.

But still… I walk on,
on the path carved by my own karma.
For every stumble shaped me,
every fall taught me to rise again.

They say, the emotions we hold within
become the world we see around us.
So now, I choose gratitude over complaint,
and peace over resentment.

Thank you, Life…
for every whisper and every wound,
for molding me through both the praise
and the pain.

I am what I am —
not just because of the sunshine,
but because I learned to dance
in the rain and say with a full heart…
