# Celebration of Happiness#

Dear friends,

Yesterday was the International Day of Happiness.

It was established by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 2012.

I feel happy to celebrate the day with happiness. Being Sunday, we visited restaurant with all my family members for lunch. After a long time, we visited outside and enjoyed ourselves with full entertainment and containment.

I try to celebrate each day as a day of happiness because it serves to recognize that happiness and well-being are fundamental goals and aspirations in the lives of human beings around the world.

With our world facing unprecedented challenges, well-being matters more than ever in our life.

  • Happiness is something we should not cling to, trying to possess it, since we cannot own it. In fact, we can experience it and then let it fly away.
  • Happiness, like beauty, is immaterial, and therefore eternal. Whenever we meet it, we should be able to enjoy each moment and share with our near & dear .
  • One of the best feelings in the world is knowing that someone is happy because of you.
  • Don’t take life too seriously. Sometimes you just have to laugh at your own problems, knowing that it is not the end of everything.

Happiness is a choice

We cannot control life, but life can control us . When I see that life will take care of itself, I do not need to control them .

One of the biggest things was that we used to ignore what was right for us. We looked outside for the answers. We desperately looked at friends and society to tell me how to live my life happily.

But what I realized that no one really knows how to live a happy life. Some seem confident, but they don’t really know.

It is the fact that even the happiest of people go through dark times.

When I began noticing what I felt drawn, I do the thing what felt right for me at that moment. I drew myself in drawing & painting and things changed. Yes, always listen to inner feelings.

Buddha says that the secret of keeping both mind and body healthy is not to grieve for the past, nor worry about the future, but to live in the present wisely and honestly

Happiness is a journey

We should remember one secret; circumstances will never always be positive for us.

We have many feelings that change every moment. Sometimes we are happy, sometimes we are sorrowful, sometimes angry, irritated or afraid; and these feelings fill our mind and heart continuously.

Yes, I was passing through the same experiences a week ago ..

In the morning I was feeling thrilled to see that my today’s blog got many views. I enjoyed that moment while sipping my tea, but as soon as I viewed my portfolio of share market; I was shocked to know that the market has lost by 3%,  and I was at a financial loss with handsome money . At that moment,  It was natural to have mood swings left and right .

And after an hour, again my mood had changed and I felt happy to see that the market had recovered the losses within an hour of trading.

What I experience is that at one time, I have one feeling that lasts for a while, and then another feeling comes, and then another. It is like there is a stream of feelings for me to deal with.

I have read somewhere that feelings are of three kinds:  pleasant, unpleasant, and neutral.

When we step on a thorn, we have an unpleasant feeling. When someone says something nice to us, such as ‘You are looking smart,’ we have a pleasant feeling.

And there are neutral feelings as well.  Whenever we sit somewhere lonely and don’t feel either pleasant or unpleasant. But that situation will be very rare. What a so-called neutral feeling . But it can become very pleasant,  If we practice breathing and smiling techniques.

The Key to Happiness

Happiness is a state, not a trait;.

In other words, happiness isn’t a long-lasting, permanent feature or personality trait, but a more fleeting, changeable state..

Happiness can be feeling or showing, meaning that happiness is not necessarily an internal or external experience, but can be both.

You cannot control how other people receive your energy. Anything you say or do gets filtered through the lens of whatever personal stuff they are going through at the moment. Which is not about you? Just keep doing your things with as much integrity and love as possible..

Surround yourself with people who know your worth. You don’t need too many people to be happy, just a few real ones who appreciate you for exactly who you are…

Never leave someone you care about on negative terms, give more than you take. Make the call you have been telling yourself you will do “tomorrow”. Let the small shift go.

Never go to bed angry. We will all die one day, so learn to live each day with a promise to yourself that it will be better than yesterday…

Be Happy….Be alive

Keep Smiling and bring a smile to others face too. That is the slogan of ours.

Every time you smile, you not only make other people feel better, but you raise your self-esteem, increase your level of positive attitude and feel better about yourself as well.

Friends,

Right now, across the world, there are so many crisis situations, including those in Ukraine, Yemen, Gaza, and elsewhere. Focusing on happiness is becoming increasingly difficult.

So, today , let’s remind ourselves and everyone around us that our actions matter, and that each one of us, no matter where we are, can contribute to a more compassionate world.

Therefore, it’s important to raise awareness of the importance of happiness in our lives.

Be happy….Be healthy…Be alive
