A simple, emotional poem about a love that lasts through distance, silence, and time. Even when two people grow apart and their story feels unfinished, memories still hold them together.
The poem gently shows that some love stories never really end, because every unwritten part and every fading memory still whispers, “I love you.”
An Unfinished Love Story
Our love story never found its end,
No last goodbye, no words to send.
One day, your footsteps faded away,
And left me beneath skies cold and grey.
The evenings still touch my windowpane,
The moon still shines through nights of pain.
Yet something left when you said goodbye,
A part of me beneath the same old sky.
I tried to silence your memory’s call,
To build my walls, to forget it all.
But deep in my heart, wherever I go,
Your name still blooms where my tears flow.
Strange, how love can linger on,
Long after the warmth of touch is gone.
You live in my silence, my poems, my dreams,
In all that is lost, and all that it seems.
I no longer ask the stars above
To bring you back or restore our love.
I pray that wherever your footsteps roam,
You find your happiness, your peace, your home.
For love is not possession or chains,
Nor does goodbye mean love leaves no remains.
Sometimes we let our dearest depart,
Yet keep them forever alive in our heart.
And if some evening, beneath skies of blue,
A passing breeze brings memories of you,
Remember, wherever my days may end,
My heart will hold you, my dearest friend.
Our story began with you, my dear,
And even your absence keeps you near.
Though time may part us and dreams fall through,
My heart will forever belong to you.
If we never meet beneath the sky,
If years erase the days gone by,
My tale may end, my words fall through—
But every page will whisper, I love You.

This is so beautiful and touching Verma ji🤍 Some love stories may remain unfinished, but the feelings never truly fade. Sometimes, people leave our lives, yet a little part of them stays with us in our memories, our silence, and the little things that remind us of them. Beautifully written! 🦋✨
