# A Thousand Tomorrows with You #

A heartfelt poem about love and longing, reflecting on the beautiful memories when someone special is far away. It captures the sadness of separation but also celebrates a love that lasts despite time and distance.

Most importantly, it conveys the hope of enjoying many beautiful tomorrows with the one who makes life worthwhile.

A Thousand Tomorrows with You

It is your presence that brings me dawn,
Without you, even sunlight feels withdrawn.
The sun may rise, the skies may glow,
Yet my heart knows a darkness no light can show.

When you are near, the silence sings,
The breeze carries whispers on invisible wings.
Life smiles softly, without a word,
And my soul finds peace in the dreams we share.

Since you left, nothing seems to have changed—
The same old windows, the same rooms unchanged,
The same evening sun sinking out of sight,
Yet everything feels different without you tonight.

I search for your face in the tea’s rising steam,
I hear your footsteps in the depths of a dream.
Each knock at the door makes my heart believe
That perhaps you’ve returned, that you’ll never leave.

How strange is love, how deeply it can grow—
You’re nowhere in sight, yet everywhere I go.
You live in the silence, in shadows, in air,
In the smallest of moments, I find you there.

I do not love you because I cannot survive,
Nor because my dreams without you would die.
I love you because, when you walk by my side,
Life becomes a journey I welcome with pride.

Life kept moving, the years flew by,
But hope kept your name beneath my sky.
And if I were granted one dream to come true,
I’d choose a thousand tomorrows with you.

  1. True love is not measured by presence, but by a bond that time cannot weaken and distance cannot diminish.

  2. Love is when you think of the other person more than yourself. Love is not selfish. Having someone to share life with is so much better than going it alone. Happy Sunday. Allan
