This is an intimate reflection on the heart of someone who finds poetry in both joy and pain. He gathers forgotten smiles, cherished memories, loneliness, and unspoken tears, transforming them into words.
His pen becomes the voice of his silence—and by turning his own wounds into poetry, he finds a way to bring comfort and healing to others.
# The Heart of a Poet #
I do not simply write—
I gather moments.
A little sunshine from yesterday,
a forgotten smile,
a song that still sings in the heart,
and sometimes,
a tear that never found its way down.
I bring them to the page
and let my words
give them a home.
Life keeps moving,
with its noise and deadlines,
its victories and defeats.
Yet I steal a few quiet moments
from the busy hours
and sit beside my thoughts.
That is where
my poems are born.
People may misunderstand me.
Some may leave wounds
where I expected warmth.
But I have stopped asking
the world to understand
the language of my heart.
I have learned
to let my pen speak for me.
Some nights,
my silence becomes heavy.
Old wounds return
without knocking,
and I sit alone
with memories
I cannot erase.
Then I write.
And somehow,
the pain becomes lighter.
I turn my wounds into words,
my silence into songs,
and my loneliness
into poetry.
Perhaps that is
the strange gift of being a poet—
to hurt deeply,
yet still find beauty;
to carry your own pain,
yet offer comfort to someone else;
to have a heart full of scars
and still leave
flowers along another person’s path.
My pen knows
the stories I never tell.
It knows the tears
hidden behind my smile.
It knows that sometimes
the strongest words
are born from the deepest wounds.
So let life test me.
Let time change me.
Let the world come and go.
I will keep writing.
Because I am not merely
a man who writes poems—
I am a poet at heart,
turning life’s wounds into words,
and words into a little healing.

“I don’t simply write, I gather moments” is very close to my heart because, for me, writing is exactly that—collecting little pieces of life, memories, emotions, smiles, and sometimes even tears, and giving them a home through words.
