रिश्तों में सबसे कठिन क्षण वह नहीं होता जब शब्द कम पड़ जाएँ, बल्कि वह होता है जब किसी अपने की मुस्कान खो जाए। यह कविता उसी मौन, पश्चाताप, समर्पण और अटूट प्रेम की अभिव्यक्ति है—जहाँ मन किसी बहाने की तलाश नहीं करता, केवल उस एक मुस्कान की वापसी की प्रार्थना करता है। क्योंकि कभी-कभी, एक सच्ची मुस्कान सचमुच पूरी ज़िन्दगी से अधिक अनमोल होती है।
# मुस्कान की क़ीमत #
कभी तुम हँसते थे,
तो लगता था
जैसे सुबह ने
मेरे मन-आँगन में अंगड़ाई ली हो।
आज तुम ख़ामोश हो…
और यह ख़ामोशी
मेरे भीतर
एक लंबी रात बनकर उतर आई है।
मैंने शिकायतों की किताब
बहुत पहले बंद कर दी है;
अब तो बस
तुम्हारी मुस्कान का पता पूछता हूँ।
शायद मेरी किसी बात ने
तुम्हारा दिल दुखाया हो।
तो सज़ा मुझे दे देना—
मगर अपनी हँसी को
बंदी क्यों बना लिया है?
तुमने पूछा नहीं,
फिर भी कह देता हूँ—
मैं ज़िन्दगी गिरवी रख दूँगा,
बस इतना बता दो,
तुम्हारी मुस्कान की
क़ीमत क्या है?
यदि उसे लौटाने के लिए
मुझे अपना अहं छोड़ना पड़े,
अपनी इच्छाएँ त्यागनी पड़ें,
या उम्र भर इंतज़ार करना पड़े—
मैं तैयार हूँ।
क्योंकि
कुछ चेहरे ऐसे होते हैं,
जिनकी एक मुस्कान
किसी की पूरी ज़िन्दगी में
फिर से वसंत भर देती है।
तुम ज़रा मुस्कुरा देना…
बाक़ी सारी लड़ाइयाँ
मैं ख़ुद से लड़ लूँगा।
