# Journey of Two Souls #

This poem shows a peaceful moment between two souls walking by the ocean. It talks about how love grows over time, combining memories, wisdom, and kindness, as the world fades away and only the essence of their shared experiences is left.

# Journey of Two Souls #

Two souls wander softly, hand in hand,
Upon the quiet edge where sea meets sand.
The world behind dissolves into the mist,
While future dreams are cradled in the twist

Your pink shimmer, a blossom in the breeze,
My blue shirt beside you, calm as moonlit seas—
Silver streaks in hair, wisdom in our eyes,
We weave our memories beneath skies.

The ocean recites its ancient, yearning song,
Each ripple reminding us where hearts belong
Smiles blending gently, silvered by time’s grace,
Lines of life written upon each face.

Let the waves carry away old sorrow and pain—
Let this moment linger, like a gentle refrain—
For love is a journey, and as seasons renew,
I stand with you always,– life’s lesson in view.

  2. So much truth. Husby and I often mention how we could never divorce because no new person would understand our history, laugh at the right times, feel the depth of three words. Thank you for this.

    • That’s beautifully put—and honestly, so real. There’s something irreplaceable about shared history, those quiet understandings and inside moments that no one else could quite step into.

I’m really glad it resonated with you. Wishing you and your husband many more of those laughter-filled, deeply understood moments. 💛

  3. This feels so gentle and comforting… like a quiet moment you don’t want to leave.
The imagery is beautiful, especially how love is shown as something that grows softer and deeper with time. It leaves a very warm, peaceful feeling behind. 🌊

    • That’s really lovely to hear—and it means a lot that the piece gave you that kind of feeling.

I was hoping it would carry that quiet, lingering softness… the kind of moment that doesn’t demand attention but stays with you anyway. The way you described it—as something you don’t want to leave—captures exactly that mood.

  4. A serene and deeply mature expression of love where time, memory, and companionship blend into a quiet, eternal presence.

    • That’s such a graceful way to see it… you’ve captured the essence perfectly.

I was hoping the piece would feel less like a moment and more like something that quietly stays—the kind of love that doesn’t need to announce itself, because it’s already woven into time, memory, and presence.
