My Heart is Healing

Oh heart, why so heavy, bound by the past?
Why hold to dreams that couldn’t last?
The roads we’ve walked, with turns and burns,
Were they not lessons, as life took its turns?

I sought a love that mirrored my soul,
But life gave me fragments to make me whole.
Each step I took, though far from the plan,
Led me to strength I now understand.

Oh heart, why let sorrow darken your skies?
For every tear, a reason to rise.
The storms may rage, the winds may cry,
But the sun returns to a clearer sky.

Dreams may have faltered, but new ones bloom,
Lighting the shadows that once loomed.
It’s not the destination I missed,
But the courage I found, the strength I kissed.

So why so heavy, when the road is still long?
With faith as your anchor, you will stay strong.
Let hope be your guide, let love be your art—
For happiness, dear heart, must come from within.
And in that truth, we can truly begin.
