# Practice yoga during coronavirus #

Dear friends.

Winter has arrived . Today I went for a morning walk after a long gap, in the Park.. I found few changes there..

Parks usually look very beautiful during the winter season.

The park was filled with greenery, trees and seasonal flowers all around. The sun was blazing and very relaxed due to cold weather.  After a short walk I sat down on the marble bench in the sunlight feeling pleasant .

Few of my friends were sitting around and posing their Yoga postures.

I also joined in the exercise. I use to do yoga everyday here during morning walk. We also discussed why Yoga is necessary during covid-19,

Mr Mathur said…I didn’t start yoga until 2005 but once I started, I am doing daily thought out the year and it has been our habit to do yoga daily in the morning.

In the initial days when I joined yoga class my body was tight and rigid and I was least flexible person in the Yoga class and I was thinking that learning yoga is not under my control.

I couldn’t touch my toes and I couldn’t get into even half the positions. But slowly I improved and that’s what yoga is there for – to allow your body to reach it’s full potential and to move and perform the way it was.

Yoga is one of the greatest habits of all time. I love Yoga and recommend it to everyone.,

We have learnt that Yoga is a holistic practice that strengthens our physical body, as well as the microscopic systems that are not visible to the naked eye.

As a result, the body’s natural defense mechanisms also improve. A healthy, disease-free body can be easily achieved by adopting a healthy lifestyle, including eating unprocessed foods, maintaining a regular yoga and meditation practice, getting plenty of sleep, and minimizing stress.

Ayurveda, yoga, and meditation are the keys to achieving our full potential. To reap the immune-boosting results of yoga, be sure to maintain a daily practice !

While a regular yoga practice, combined with a 20-minute meditation, can result in increased health.

However, know that it is not a substitute for medical treatment. It is important to learn and practice yoga postures under the supervision of a trained teacher. In the case of a medical condition, practice yoga postures after consulting a doctor.

Yoga is a spiritual, mental and physical practice that has been around since ages. With time, people have discovered a number of health benefits associated with yoga.

Yoga does more than burning calories and strengthening.

Yoga means addition – “addition of energy, strength and beauty to body, mind and soul.”

I mention here some of the benefit of yoga..

Yoga exercises have a beneficial effect on the immune system. It not only helps in destroying various viruses we catch during season change, but also boosts our immunity to fight off diseases.
