When the Heart Feels Low
Why are you sad, my heart?
Why carry yesterday’s pain?
Some clouds may hide the sunshine,
But they cannot stop the rain.
Life is not a straight road;
It twists, it turns, it bends.
Some chapters bring us sorrow,
While others bring happy ends.
You have fallen many times,
Yet somehow, you rose again.
So wipe your tears, dear heart,
And walk beyond the pain.
Do not wait for life to change
While sitting in despair.
Change the way you see the world,
And find new hope somewhere.
Leave your sorrows behind you,
Let courage light your way.
The night can never last forever;
There will always be a brighter day.
Tomorrow gently knocks at your door;
Perhaps it holds what you waited for.
Not a life without sorrow, struggle, or pain,
But the strength to rise and begin again.
