There is one question
that walks beside me.

Why does life
so often choose
the path
I never planned?

I draw a map,
but life changes direction.

I plant expectations,
yet destiny
blooms different flowers.

For years,
I searched
for answers.

Now,
I search
for meaning.

Every detour
has taught me
a lesson
I would never have learned
on the road I chose.

Every closed door
has quietly protected me
until the right one
was ready to open.

Today,
the question
still walks beside me,
but it no longer
troubles my heart.

Its answer
arrives gently—

Life does not always
give us
what we ask for.

Sometimes,
it gives us
what we need
to become
who we are meant to be.

And that is enough
to keep walking
with hope.
