# When Memories Clock In Again #

Some memories never retire. They quietly revisit us through old photographs, familiar names, and cherished moments, reminding us that while careers may end, the bonds we build and the memories we create continue to live in our hearts forever.

When Memories Clock In Again

Some memories
never grow old.

They do not fade with time,
nor surrender
to passing years.

They simply wait—

for a quiet evening,
an old photograph,
or a familiar name…

and suddenly,
the heart is back
where it once belonged.

There was a time
when every morning
had a purpose.

The bank,
the desk,
the endless work,
the laughter of colleagues—

all seemed
like an ordinary part of life.

Only after it was gone
did I realise
it had been
the golden chapter
of my life.

The enthusiasm has mellowed.
The job has ended.
The office is no longer mine.

But the memories…

they still clock in
every single day.

And whenever they arrive,
my eyes grow moist,
my lips wear a gentle smile,

and for a few precious moments,

I no longer feel retired—

I am back at my office,
living those beautiful days
all over again.

    • Thank you so much, my dear friend. 🙏❤️ Y
You are absolutely right—our memories become the chapters of our life story. They remind us where we have been, what we have learned, and the wonderful people who have walked beside us. I truly believe that as long as we cherish them, those beautiful moments never grow old.

Thank you for your kind words and thoughtful reflection. 🌹
