As writers, we often spend our lives searching—not only for the right words, but for the missing pieces of ourselves. Every memory, every emotion, and every poem becomes part of that journey.
I Am a Missing Piece is a heartfelt reflection on self-discovery, reminding us that perhaps we are not meant to be perfect—only to keep growing, one word and one beautiful piece at a time.
# I Am a Missing Piece #
I am a missing piece.
Not broken.
Not lost.
Just… unfinished.
I am a writer.
My thoughts live
in scattered places—
some hidden in memories,
some resting in old dreams,
and some still waiting
to be found.
Every poem I write
is a journey
to gather those pieces.
Sometimes
I find one
in an old photograph.
Sometimes
in the fragrance
of a cup of tea.
Sometimes
in the silence
between two heartbeats.
People think
writers create stories.
Perhaps.
But often,
we write
to find ourselves.
Every word
reveals
a forgotten fragment.
Every poem
heals
an invisible wound.
Will I ever
be complete?
I no longer ask.
Perhaps
life was never meant
to give us
all the pieces.
Perhaps
the beauty lies
in the search itself.
So I keep writing.
Not to become famous—
but to become
whole.
And with every poem,
I find
one more piece
of myself.
