# My Golden Years Whispered #

They say
there comes a time
when the lessons end,

when age
writes the final chapter,
and wisdom
has nothing more to learn.

I smile.

For every sunrise
places another page
into my hands,

and every sunset
asks a question
I have never answered before.

Life has been
my greatest teacher.

It welcomed me
with laughter,

introduced me
to dreams,

tested me
through failures,

and strengthened me
amid silent storms.

Sometimes
it offered flowers,

sometimes
only thorns.

Yet even the thorns
taught me
how gently
hope must be held.

I have celebrated victories
that made my heart sing,

and I have carried sorrows
too heavy
for words to describe.

Still—

I kept walking.

Not because
the road was easy,

but because
every step
whispered,

“There is still
something waiting
for you to discover.”
