# When My Soul Became Rain #

This is a poem about love that goes beyond being together. Using images of rain, leaves, and hearts, it shows that true love doesn’t disappear over time or distance—it turns into strength, peace, and hope within us.

It celebrates the unseen ways one soul keeps supporting another, even after moments have ended.

When My Soul Became Rain

I did not arrive
with thunder in my voice
or lightning in my eyes.

I came quietly—
like the fragrance of rain
kissing the earth,
gentle enough to be felt,
never needing to be heard.

You never saw me fall.

You only noticed
that your silences grew softer,
your weary heart grew lighter,
and the empty spaces within you
began to bloom.

Do not hold me too tightly.

A raindrop lives
only when it is free.

Simply open your heart
as a leaf welcomes the rain—
without fear,
without questions,
without asking
how long the clouds will stay.

If one day I am no longer beside you,
do not search for me in the sky.

Find me instead
in your quiet strength,
your gentle smile,
and your courage to love again.

And if someone asks,

“Where did this peace come from?”

Just smile and say,

“Some souls never truly leave.
They become the rain
that teaches another soul
how to blossom forever.”
