# Becoming You #

This poem gently explores the quiet intimacy between two hearts growing closer through everyday expressions of joy, silence, and emotion.

It reflects how love often forms not in grand moments, but in simple observations—laughter, music, rain, and unspoken feelings that slowly become deeply personal.

# Becoming You #

You love to speak, so I listen near,
In every word, your soul feels clear.
You love to laugh, bright and free,
And suddenly the world smiles with me.

You love to sing, soft and slow,
And I find music wherever you go.
You love the rain, its silver grace,
I see your shadow in every place.

You love to write what hearts conceal,
And I read emotions you never reveal.
And I don’t know when it all became true—
But I started loving the “you” in you.

Not just your voice, not just your face,
But in every silence, in every space.
In your joys, I learn my part—
You live in me, close to my heart.

  1. This is absolutely beautiful, Verma ji. 💛

The way you’ve woven simple moments into something so profound—listening, laughing, the rain, the unspoken words—it feels like watching love bloom in slow motion. There’s a tenderness in every line, a quiet reverence for the person becoming part of your world not through grand gestures, but through the small, sacred spaces between shared silences.

That final stanza especially—”In your joys, I learn my part”—says so much about how love transforms us from observers into participants in someone else’s happiness.

Thank you for sharing this gentle piece of your heart. It lingers long after reading. ✨
