A heartfelt poem about carrying old wounds with grace, finding strength after heartbreak, and discovering that true identity is not built through victories alone, but through the courage to rise, heal, and smile despite life’s broken moments.
# Perhaps, This Is My Unique Style #
Some old wounds still live inside,
Some silent aches I cannot hide.
Some lonely nights still linger near,
With unshed tears and traces of fear.
Yet my heart refused to lose its light;
It held on through the darkest night.
From shattered dreams and ashes gray,
It found a reason to grow and stay.
Some people came and walked away,
Some chose not to remain and stay.
But little lamps of memories bright
Still guided me through every night.
There were times I lost my way,
When trembling feet could not obey.
But after every fall, I knew
I’d rise again and start anew.
No crown was placed upon my head,
No words of praise were ever said.
But in the mirror, face to face,
I found my worth and rightful place.
Now pain has learned to walk with me,
And tears are guests that come and flee.
Beneath the shade of broken days,
I’ve learned to grow in resilient ways.
I grieve for all I’ve left behind,
Yet treasure what I’ve come to find.
Even with a broken heart, I smile—
And perhaps, this is my unique style.

This touched something deep within me. ❤️ The quiet strength in these lines is beautiful—the kind that isn’t loud or celebrated, but earned through every heartbreak, every fall, and every rise. ‘Even with a broken heart, I smile’ is such a powerful reminder that resilience can be gentle too. Thank you Verma ji for putting this journey into words so gracefully. 🌷

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for such a beautiful reflection. ❤️
You understood the essence of those lines exactly as I had hoped—that resilience is not always fierce or dramatic; sometimes it is quiet, gentle, and found in the simple choice to keep smiling despite the ache we carry within. Every heartbreak leaves its mark, but it also teaches us compassion, courage, and grace. If these words touched something deep within you, then the poem has truly fulfilled its purpose.
Thank you for reading with such sensitivity and for sharing your kindness so generously. 🌷🙏✨

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and encouraging words. They truly mean a great deal to me. 🌷
You’re absolutely right—accepting past hurts while still finding the courage to embrace what lies ahead is one of life’s most difficult lessons. Healing is rarely a straight path. There are moments of resistance, grief, and uncertainty. Yet, somewhere along the way, acceptance brings a quiet peace that bitterness never can.

This poem is written with so much depth and emanates a powerful message of rising after the fall and just to keep going even if people walk along with you or not . Choose not to stop and that should be an inspiration for all of us today . Very well written sir .

Thank you so much for your heartfelt words and thoughtful reading. 🌷🙏
I am deeply touched that you connected with the poem’s message in such a meaningful way. Life has a way of testing our resolve through setbacks, disappointments, and moments of solitude. Yet perhaps our greatest strength lies not in never falling, but in finding the courage to rise each time we do and continue moving forward.
