A reflective and emotional poem about the flow of life, the power of thought, and the invisible way our attention shapes our destiny. Through vivid imagery and philosophical insight, the poem explores how the soul gradually becomes what it continuously nurtures.
Philosophy of Life
Life is not a river alone—
it is the trembling light
upon the river’s waves.
A wild energy, breathing and wandering,
riding the restless horse of time
through valleys of memory
and mountains of desire.
Each second arrives
like a different season in the soul.
Sometimes life tastes of rain
on an old childhood window,
sometimes of burnt dreams
cooling silently in the dark.
There are mornings
when hope smells like fresh petals,
and nights when
loneliness sits beside you
like an unpaid musician
playing the same broken song.
Yet the strange secret is this—
life bends
toward your thoughts, your attention.
If you stare too long at sorrow,
even the moon begins to bleed.
If you water anger,
your heart grows thorns
instead of gardens.
So guard carefully
the direction of your soul.
For time never pauses,
and life, in its silent mystery,
slowly becomes
the very thing
you dare to become.
