This poem captures a tranquil moment beneath the shade of green leaves, where two lives sit in quiet companionship.
With the rustle of dry leaves and the stillness of time, it becomes a sacred space where memories breathe, emotions speak without words, and friendship quietly blossoms.
It’s a tribute to aging, peace, and the sacredness of shared silence.
Under the Shade of Green Leaves
Beneath the shade of whispering leaves,
Two stories of life quietly sit.
One wrapped in silence, yet speaking volumes,
The other weaves emotions with just a look.
The earth, draped in a blanket of dry leaves,
Feels weary — as if it’s taken a long breath.
Time seems to pause for a fleeting moment,
Like the fading note of a distant melody.
No rush, no frantic chase,
Just a carnival of thoughts in the heart.
Laughter echoes, then silent dialogues —
Each emotion has stood alone, unguarded.
We have crossed so many roads,
Endured the shedding of countless autumns.
Now, all we seek is a bit of peace —
A few moments beneath this soothing shade.
This is no mere bench — it feels like a shrine,
Where age turns into quiet prayer.
Where memories gently come alive again,
And friendship smiles with a tender grace.

Yes…
It’s the kind of silence that doesn’t ask for words,
where glances carry the weight of years,
and sighs are softer than falling leaves.

Thank you…
Some silences speak louder than words,
and your kind note echoes sweetly in that quiet.
Let’s keep sharing these soft moments —
where thoughts linger, hearts listen,
and poetry breathes.
