The Essence of Relationships
Love, like a warm hand, reaches out,
Friendship, a shoulder, never in doubt.
These bonds are threads for lives they weave,
Joy’s gentle touch, and sorrows they relieve.
Love, friendship, and tender care,
Life’s deepest secrets reside in there.
Sometimes, they calm the restless soul,
Sometimes, they break us, leaving a hole.
Trust is a whisper, on the breeze it flies,
Respect is a beacon, guiding our eyes.
But doubts may creep in, like dark in night,
Testing the threads, with all their might.
Forgiveness, a balm for a wounded heart,
Healing the cracks, a brand-new start.
Acceptance of flaws, a love that’s true,
Through stormy seas and skies of blue.
