Whispers of Love

As twilight falls and shadows spread wide,
I wander alone, where despair and dreams collide.
When stars awaken and moonlight softly streams,
I search for you within my restless dreams.

Through darkened woods, my steps falter and stray,
A wayward traveler, drifting far from the day.
Your love, my compass, a flame burning bright,
Even in my darkness, you’re my guiding light.

The river roars, wild and free in its song,
Its music cradles me, though the nights feel long.
Your gaze, like a blade, cuts through my soul,
Without a word, it makes me whole.

The night wraps me in its tender, quiet fold,
But whispers of dawn keep my heart from the cold.
Though silence reigns, your love speaks true,
A gentle breath in the space between me and you.
