My heart, a garden, once vibrant and bright,

Bloomed with love, a radiant, fragrant sight.

Forgetting to light the love’s tender embrace.

You arrived, a beacon in this desolate night,

Yet my welcome faltered, a flickering light.

Overwhelmed by your presence, emotions run wild,

My defenses laid bare, like a a vulnerable child.

Words tumbled forth, a desperate plea,

“You’re my hope,” I confessed, “all I long to see.”

But fear, a serpent, coils tight in my soul,

What if promises break, leaving love’s fragile whole?

Oh, my love, let not hope turn to ash and despair,

Fill this desolate space with love’s tender care.

Together we’ll weave a dream, vibrant and strong,

A love story whispered, where we both belong.
