We all yearn for a piece of sky,

A vast expanse, where dreams can fly.

To hold it close, and hear it sigh,

A deep longing within, a tearful cry.

For a touch of connection, a hand to clasp,

A star to confide in, behind its mask.

But what of hearts, in their grasp,

Lost in the crowd, a silent gasp?

In the moon’s fair glow, so bright,

Stars twinkle, igniting the night.

Yet loneliness, a shadow’s blight,

A silent storm, quenching light.

The shehnai’s melody, so sweet,

Echoes laughter, a joyful beat.

Mocking my emptiness, complete,

Lost in sacred silence, a heart’s defeat.

Let not this ache, forever bind,

In the crowd, a kindred mind to find.

Seeking your touch, gentle and kind,

A love’s solace, to soothe the mind.

So hear my plea, in whispered prayer,

Let love embrace, and banish despair.

In your tender care, I’ll find repair,

 A beacon of hope, in the lonely air.
