Beneath the Endless Night
Twice the love I give, for every touch you share,
Twice the kiss I steal, a whispered, silent prayer.
If wanderlust should call, and distant lands entice,
I’d paint the moonlit sky, to chase away the night.
Hold my hand, and let your worries gently fade,
My love unspoken, in every glance displayed.
Pain may pierce my heart, with your bitter word,
No murmur of complaint, will ever be unheard.
Close your eyes, my love, and feel my spirit’s flight,
In dreams, I hold you close, beneath the endless night.
