#Echoes of Wilted Past#

This poem reflects the poignant struggle of letting go of cherished memories, as symbolized by wilted flowers and faded words. The words long to break free from the past but are bound by the enduring essence of those experiences.

The words beautifully capture the bittersweet nostalgia and the resilience of the human spirit, emphasizing the coexistence of fading memories with an unwavering hope for new beginnings.

Echoes of Wilted Past

In the garden of memories, wilted blooms lie,

Longing to shed them, yet they evoke a sigh.

Stale words in my diary, echoes of the past,

I wish to erase them but vows that forever last.

How do I escape my ancient reverie’s hold?

Desire to erase it, yet its roots are bold.

My thoughts entwined, stubbornly enshrined,

Unwilling to let go, they bind and remind.

True, the flowers have withered away,

Words grown stale, their essence in decay.

But my mind remains untamed, pure and sure,

Tethered to the past, steadfast, and secure.

The echoes of promises, whispers of old,

Weave through my soul, their tale untold.

Wilted petals, they brittle, they may fade,

Yet, my essence always refuses to evade.

Let the wilted flowers rest in their bower,

Stale words fade, losing their power.

Within me, an ember of hope remains,

It creates a symphony, untainted by chains.
