My heart searches for those moments once more,

Where we lost ourselves in future dreams galore,

Everything felt so familiar and joyful before,

Today, it all seems so distant, I deplore.

Bringing calm and moments with such ease,

But When you left, it felt like autumn’s freeze,

Without your memories, my world’s a lonely sea.

Yes, I am living my life, this is true,

Without your memories, it’s devoid of hue,

This world without you is desolate and blue

In your memories, I find solace, it’s true.

When will that day come, I often ponder,

When you return, my heart ceases to squander,

And filling again my life with joy and wonder,

Just thinking of you makes my heart grow fonder.
