In pages of my diary, fate did unfold,

A conversation profound, a story untold.

I sought my pen, my thoughts to trace,

 Yet found within those lines, a sacred space.

“What sets us apart?” I dared to inquire,

Its humble reply, like a quenching fire.

“I am but a pen,” it softly replied,

“Creating history with strokes by my side.

In your endless desires, your endless chase,

Lies the root of sorrows that life may embrace.

Embrace the present, let life’s music play,

Dance in its rhythm, let sorrows sway.

Life itself is a miracle, the greatest of all,

The ability to think, imagine, stand tall.

We forget the marvel, in seeking more,

Yet life’s true magic, rich to the core.

Past is history, future a mystery’s hue,

Material pursuits, name, fame—let them accrue.

Find joy in the present, let laughter commence,

For life’s inner fire creates history, immense.

My pen’s wisdom, simple, and true,

A lesson learned, a life began anew.

With joy in my heart, my dance began,

         Yes, I am a pen, and I am a man.
