#Unveiled Identity#

This is a poignant poem that reflects upon the acceptance and pride in one’s true self. It explores the narrator’s unwavering contentment and self-assurance, emphasizing that external appearances, religious affiliations, material possessions, or societal roles do not define one’s worth.

Friends,

My poem will encourage you to find solace and empowerment in being true to themselves, regardless of the world’s perception.

No, I am not saddened, for

I am not like you.

I appear as I do,

As fashioned by the divine.

No, I am not saddened, for

My eyes are not brown,

My hair is not black,

Yet I appear as I am,

As fashioned by the divine.

No, I am not saddened for

I have no bungalow, no car,

I survive on two meals a day,

Yet, I find solace in peaceful sleep.

I am not saddened, but proud for

this is my identity, essence of life.
