#Sometimes Life is Unkind to Us#

Friends,
Life can be unpredictable, and at times, it can be unkind to us.

It’s not uncommon for us to experience hardship, pain, and suffering throughout our lives. Whether it’s losing a loved one, experiencing a personal setback, or facing financial difficulties, life can challenge us in many ways.

When life is unkind to us, it can be challenging to stay positive and keep moving forward. It’s natural to feel overwhelmed, frustrated, and even angry when things don’t go as planned. However, it’s important to remember that adversity is a part of life, and it’s how we respond to it that defines us.
In this context, there is a beautiful story I share with you.

Samantha had a loving family

Samantha had always been a cheerful person, living life with a bright sparkle on her face. She had a loving family, a stable job, and a group of friends she adored. Everything seemed to be going well for her until one day,  her world came crashing down to her surprise.

Samantha’s husband passed away at age of 35  due to a heart attack, leaving her devastated and alone. Her world had turned upside down, and she was struggling to find ways and means to cope with the loss of her loved one.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, but Samantha couldn’t shake off the feeling of sadness and loneliness that had taken over her life. She tried to keep busy by volunteering at her local church and spending more time with her friends, but the emptiness in her heart remained.

Life changing letter

One day, Samantha received a letter in the mail that changed everything. It was an invitation to attend a grief support group at her local community center. At first, she was hesitant, but after giving it some thought, she decided to give it a try.

As she walked into the room, she was greeted by a group of people who had all experienced loss in their lives. They shared their stories and struggles, and Samantha realized that she wasn’t alone in her struggle and pain.

Then onwards, she attended group meetings regularly and made new friends. She also found comfort in the healing power of music and started attending concerts and listening to her favorite songs.

Samantha learned to find joy in the little things in life, such as taking a walk in the park or reading a good book. She also started to travel more, visiting new places and experiencing new cultures.

Her life filled with new experiences

As she filled her life with new experiences and people, Samantha realized that although life can be unkind at times, it is also full of beauty and opportunities. She learned to appreciate every moment and cherish the memories of her husband.

Samantha’s journey, although a difficult one, but it also taught her valuable lessons about resilience, strength, and the power of love. She learned that even in the darkest days of our lives, there is always a ray of hope and that it’s better to reach out for help and support whenever needed

.

She emerges from the grief

In the end, Samantha emerged out from her grief becoming stronger and more appreciative of life. She was grateful for the love and support of her family, friends, and the grief support group that had helped her through her darkest days.

She knew that life would always have its ups and downs, but she also knew that she was strong enough to face them with grace and courage.

Friends,

Never give up. Life is not a simple journey.

Those who give up get broken and become miserable.

Those who use their wisdom get ahead in life.

I also wondered, have you started creating sketches specifically to illustrate your words? The artwork is great … so much energy
