#God is our best friend#

Dear friends,

Sometimes, we question to self, whether we are leading our lives in the manner in which we should be living. As we grow and go through the various phases of life, we invest much time and effort to nurture relationships around us as social beings.

We experience new relationships develop but at the same time old one ends. Most of our relationships come to an end, because of misunderstandings that leave a void in our lives.

In such circumstances, we seek a relationship that is permanent and everlasting so that we are not alone in this world.

Friends, All relationships in this world will come to pass one day. The only relationship that outlasts even our time on earth, is our relationship with God, the Creator.

who I am

Now the question is … how do we develop our relationship with God?

We need to first understand “who I am”. In reality, we are souls, a part of the Divine, entangled in the wheel of birth and death.  Our souls have been yearning to return to the Source.

This human birth was given to us so that we can find our way back to God. And to do so, we need to embrace the path of oneness and love.

First, let’s create a solid foundation for our lives, based on the ethical virtues of truthfulness, humility, compassion, non-violence, and selfless service.

All goodness is born out of love, and when we love, then peace, harmony, and joy automatically follow. The truest of all love resides within us.

Yes,  It is the love of the Divine who brought all creation into being. The so-called God resides within us.

Meditation

However, we do not experience this love because we focused our attention on the attractions and distractions of the outer world.

Through the process of meditation, we can withdraw our attention from the world and focus it within. And then, we can experience the bliss of God’s love.

Subsequently, we start loving ourselves. The Divine’s love also makes us godly, and we inculcate ethical virtues in our lives.

Gradually, we progress on the inner journey until our soul merges back in its Source, reuniting with the Divine.

Once we have experienced this love, we become aware of the divine presence in our lives. Our fear and anxiety vanish, and we no longer feel alone.

Explore Inner Love

God has not forsaken us. It is we who have forgotten God, and it is up to us to take steps to remember him. This can happen when we take the time to sit in meditation daily and explore our inner love.

If we wish to love God we have to establish our relationship with him.

God is not far. He is sitting in our hearts. He is closer than the closest. The feeling that he is far away is our own intellectual block.

God says you can love me as your very own. I have got no problem. Whichever soul loves me at whatever time to whatever extent and in whatever sentiment. I love this same soul at the same time to the same extent in the same sentiment.

The law of love gives hope to the soul that we can also access the almighty. So, please love yourself to create a relationship with your own soul. You will never be alone.
