Don’t miss morning praxis

Friends,

Self-care is the key to physical and mental health. Our ultimate goal is to have a healthier and happier life.

It is true that most of us do not spend enough time on our mind and body .

We try to give our best to personal relationships and career growth without realizing the need to go the extra mile for self-care.  Yes, everybody is overworking and overthinking most of the time and not paying attention to their health.

A little effort with self-care can keep you healthy, sane, and happy.

If you study successful people, one thing that you’ll notice really quickly is that they share a bunch of similar habits— and the daily ritual is one of them. Therefore, being busy isn’t an excuse. In fact, the busier that you get, the MORE you need it.

There are some morning habits that is beneficial for physical and mental health.

Everybody has a morning routine that they follow. Although crafting morning routine is a personal thing.

We have to perform so many assignments in a limited period,, For productive result we generally prioritise our work according to time availability.

Since I am a senior citizen, I have a priority for health, and hence I follow my morning routine.

Morning routine implies morning— what I mean is, it shouldn’t consume your entire day. Morning time of maximum two hours are for my personal and for healthy purposes.

I follow my Morning rituals

Wake up early :  I usually wake up between 5-6 AM   and drink a glass of lemon water. Then I follow the Miracle Morning exercise.

Find a quiet, comfortable place to sit. Start every morning with a period of purposeful Silence of at least 5 minutes, and during silence I practice Meditation,  Prayer, and Deep Breathing .

Purposeful Silence

Begin by focusing on your breath, taking slow, deep breaths. In through the nose, out through the mouth, and be sure to breathe into your belly, rather than your chest.

Now, start pacing your breath; in slowly on a count of 3 seconds, hold it in for 3 seconds, and then breathe out slowly on a count of 3 seconds.

As you attempt to quiet your mind, thoughts will still come in to pay a visit. Simply acknowledge them, then let them go, always returning your focus to your breath.

Use Affirmations

I use affirmations to program myself to be confident and successful in everything I do. It is said that with enough repetition, our subconscious mind will begin to believe what we tell, act upon it, and eventually manifest it in reality.

In my affirmation, I add Inspirational Quotes Philosophies, and positive thoughts. Today’s affirmation is …

I am a healthy and happy person. I know each day is a blessing and a gift. Today is going to be a really, really good day. I am excited to wake up today and experience this beautiful life that I am creating with my thoughts and visions.

Practice Visualization

After affirmation, I practice Visualization. This is the process of imagining exactly what you want to achieve in life, and then mentally rehearsing what you’ll need to do to achieve it.

Directly after reading your affirmations — where you took the time to articulate and focus on your goals and who you need to be to take your life to the next level — is the prime time to visualize yourself living in alignment with your affirmations. Start with just five minutes of visualization with simple 3 steps..

1. Sit up tall in a comfortable position. Breathe deeply. Close your eyes, clear your mind, and get ready to visualize.

2. See yourself accomplishing what you set out to accomplish and how good it will feel to have followed through and achieved your goals

3. See yourself engaged in the positive actions you’ll need to do each day and make sure you see yourself enjoying the process.

Morning Exercise

As we know that morning exercise is very important for everyone. When you exercise for even a few minutes every morning it significantly boosts your energy, enhances your health, improves self-confidence and emotional well-being, and enables you to think better and concentrate longer. After the morning walk for half an hour, I do Yoga and meditation in the park. I have already shared the detailed morning exercise in a separate blog.

Friends, the morning routine sets the tone of your day. No matter how hectic yesterday was or how much work you have to do today, the morning routine is our daily constant— we have to follow 100% as a selfish morning ritual. It’s the time that we can allocate some time towards ourselves, every day, no matter what. It keeps you sane.

Every morning, when you wake up, your morning ritual should be the first thing you do. I  have a big piece of paper written with morning rituals taped on the wall of the wooden almirah.  That is the first thing I see every morning. I say to myself —Just do the morning ritual”.

Let me know about you if you do this too. Thanks for reading this blog.
