# Welcome to my Sketchbook #

Dear friends,

I know that I am not good at drawing and even feel that my sketches are not exactly considered an art.

Despite all that I feel excited about sharing my drawing through blogs because this creates an opportunity to interact with friends who are far away. I find valuable comments and suggestions that guide me in my endeavor.

Yes, it helps me keep going in my endeavor.

In the morning, I always spend time visiting my sketch- book and feel happy to see my latest drawing.

That makes my whole day pleasant and happy.  Yes, I love drawing and trying hard to get myself up to mark.

Few of us are fortunate enough that learns this skill at a very young age and become professional artists someday.  But I am not one of those.  I just started learning this hobby at 64. Still, I have passion and stubbornness and promised myself to be an artist one day.

There are  Beautiful Quotes that inspired me always:

“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”

— Pablo Picasso

“The object of art is not to reproduce reality, but to create a reality of the same intensity.”

— Alberto Giacometti

The emotions are sometimes so strong that I work without knowing it. The strokes come like speech.”

— Vincent van Gogh

“All art is but dirtying the paper delicately.”

-John Ruskin

“A drawing is simply a line going for a walk.”

-Paul Klee

“Drawing is not what one sees but what one can make others see.”

-Edgar Degas

I consider myself a beginner artist looking to go on a long way and do sketching on a regular basis.

I have always a sketchbook lying on my study table and just started sketching whenever find any picture fascinating to my eye,

I have made about 1000 sketches in my sketch-book . Seeing that I feel happy and excited most of the time.

I could say with the Colour

However, I am not getting enough time now to practice my drawings.   I have to spend a lot of time writing blogs. Sufficient time is also spent following my daily schedule which includes a morning walk, daily swimming practice, and playing a game of TT in the evening for my fitness.

I steal the Time

Moreover, I have to spend time on domestic work and visiting the local market for vegetable and grocery items.

I find it difficult to get sufficient time for drawing which keeps me desperate.

Despite all these hurdles, I steal the time from my busy schedule to keep alive this passion.

I have done lots of practice through pencil drawing; I still do that.

Imagination is the only Weapon

But, I love abstract drawing as well.

Although abstract drawing is a vast subject and difficult to understand for me as a newcomer. What I read about abstract art is — whether it is painting or drawing — is a type of art that doesn’t depend on real-life visual references. Rather, it uses forms, colors, and lines in ways that can capture a feeling rather than creating a literal likeness.

A Place to think on the Page.

In today’s post, I would like to share some abstract drawings as well.  That I had made a few days ago. I know I am not up to mark, still expected your comments that will be helpful in my further practice.

My Sketchbook is a witness of …

I don’t know exactly, whether or not it is abstract drawing, but enjoying a lot doing this art.

I am doing different types of drawing and keep exploring a lot more. I wish to fill my entire sketch-book with beautiful sketches. The day will definitely come when our friends after seeing my sketches will say wow, wow.  Let us pray for that.
