Today I was thinking of my friends whose business is not doing well . As a Banker I had suggested to do a swot analysis of the company. SWOT analysis is very important, and it helps us to  uncover opportunities that would not otherwise have been spotted.

And by understanding the weaknesses,   one can manage and eliminate threats that might otherwise hurt the ability to move forward.

The same idea may also apply for us.. So, I decided to do it myself using the SWOT framework.

The idea is to find out my weaknesses and to develop my strength by utilizing opportunity and eliminating threats.

I performed SWOT analysis by making three separate sheets of strength, weakness and opportunity.

Strength

• · I have strong will power,

• · Good health condition.

• · Sound financial condition.

• I have 32 yrs of Banking experience..

• I have free time to do what I wish..

• I  am connected with the friends on social media

• Independent in talking any decision

• I can enjoy my life on  own way

• I am experienced in sales and achieved the MDRT status four times in a  row before my retirement.

• I can start my own business online such as blogging and U- tube posts.

Weaknesses

• ·Some bad habits affecting my health ..

• I  don’t have a good friend circle to enjoy life as I wish

• Have a fickle mind and always feel disturbed about petty things..

• I am very emotional and not so professional

• Suffering from negative thought always due to reason unknown

• I am disorganized and short-tempered and poor in handling stress,

• Suffering from unknown fear /jealousy and fear of public speaking.

• Influenced by anyone for wrong doing. And trust one person at once.

• Thinking more, doing less. i.e. less productivity /overthinking.

• I Suffer from procrastination and always have a tendency to postpone the present work for the next day .

• · No reading habit…not reading books, newspapers..

• ·Lack of concentration due to stress feeling

• · Suffering from Polofobia ..fear of travel . what is this

 Opportunities

• Have free time and can be used for improving health

• No undesirable liability.

• I have 32 yrs long experience in Banking and can be utilized to generate additional income and time utilization.

• There we can tap an enormous opportunity in online business as per my choice.

• I have a team to suggest the best opportunity available to me.

• As per my strength, I have to correct my weakness step by step and avail opportunities as per my strength..

Threats:

• There is always a threat of external factors that might occur in our lives for which we might not be prepared,

• Some threats which might affect me are:

• Status of investment portfolio

• Some unexpected health conditions

• Some problems in relationship

• Failure in projects which are currently active

• Natural calamity beyond our control such as COVID.

Conclusion

I need to work on my weakness to empower myself by availing existing opportunities.  I should prioritize the work, take help from my mentor and form a team to have better results in my life by utilizing existing opportunities.
