Know your inner strength

Friends,

Sadness is a temporary state that often has a clear cause.  Few days   ago I was down with sadness due to the loss of my relative close to me.

In those moments, I was feeling heavy emotional burden and trying to get out from that situation. Yes, I was feeling numb, drained, and struggling to concentrate.

I was feeling the Persistent sadness that had wrapped around me like a heavy blanket, resulted in muffling the sensations and lost the joy of everyday life.

I was suffering from feeling low, empty, and defeated due to continued sadness.  I was struggling to find the way how to start feeling better.

It felt like sadness had become our constant companion.

That is  when I got to see  an article, which gave me some relief after reading it.

That was really helpful to came out from that situation  and to  lead normal life.  Today I want to mention the same here .

It is said that when we feel broken that is the time we are about to make the biggest progress in life,,

Sir Aurobindo said,  it is the darkest nights that prepare for the greatest dawns.

When you think everything is going against you.  It means that situation is being created for inner growth.

There is a question in Upanishad —  Why does God created earth quacks, hurricanes cyclones and tornadoes ?  Is there a defect in his design of the world ?

Is it that lord who made this world had a faulty design, hence the earth quacks and tornadoes come ?

Or Is it that he is not the all-powerful God ? He does not know how to control all this ?

There is a beautiful answer as well … that says,   No, God does not have a faulty design of this world. In fact, he is all pervading in this world.

This world is a veritable form of God.  He has deliberately built in these things into the world system.

But why ?

sometimes   God  test us and put human being  into difficulties. And human beings, when they face those difficulties, they are force to progress.

You can take the example of Hiroshima and Nagasaki . The United States detonated two nuclear weapons over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on 6 and 9 August 1945, respevtively.

Both these cities were destroyed in that World War, but very soon on the strength of their positive thinking, they built a better city than before.

This is the fact that we are forced to enhance the physical, mental , spiritual capabilities to deal with a more difficult situation that arise on the way.

So, the difficult situation comes as a blessing in disguise.

Swami Vivekananda  had said .. Life is the continuous unfoldment of a being under circumstances tending to press it downwards.

This life has been created by God in such a way that circumstances press you downwards, either it is a health issue or it is a interpersonal issue . It may be a mental issue, or  a financial issue. Or it is an environmental issue . Things don’t always run naturally smoothly.

Yes, difficulties are created , and those difficulties come in our way as an opportunity to grow.

Somebody who has a negative attitude stops there, the moment a stone is placed on their path.

And somebody who has a positive attitude, uses those stones as a stepping ladder to move further ahead.

We can say, the way to progress is not avoiding battles and difficulties and struggles, but by accepting them and still continuing the journey of life.
