This morning when I was walking in the park, I saw people of all age. Children, teens and senior citizen are enjoying walking in groups.
Really, people have become so health conscious these days and everyone realizes the importance of physical and mental fitness.
Study shows that walking in nature reduces ruminating over negative experience which lowers risk of depression.
Now a day’s doctors are also advising to walk at least 15 -30 minutes daily in the morning or evening.
To gain cardiovascular benefits, experts recommend at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity per week.
That breaks down to about 21 minutes per day if you walk every day or 30 minutes per day five times per week.
If weight loss is your goal, more physical activity is recommended, along with dietary changes.
Yes, this simple activity is a boon for our overall health.
