Hello dear friends,
I hope this blog finds you in a cheerful mood.
Today’s writing prompt posed a very thought-provoking question:
“Who is your favorite blogger to follow?”
At first glance, it seems like a simple request to recommend someone whose writing has inspired us.
The internet is filled with remarkable bloggers who share wisdom on travel, health, technology, relationships, spirituality, personal growth, and countless other subjects. Every one of them brings a unique perspective to the world.
But as I reflected on this question, I found myself arriving at an unexpected answer.
My favorite blogger to follow is… myself.
Now, before you mistake this for pride or self-admiration, allow me to explain.
This answer has nothing to do with believing I write better than others. Instead, it comes from recognizing that no one has witnessed my journey more closely than I have.
My blog is more than a collection of articles—it is the story of my growth, my failures, my victories, and my continuous search for meaning.
As Aristotle wisely said,
“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.”
The more I know myself through writing, the more valuable my own blog becomes to me.

❤️My Blog Is My Personal Mirror
Every blog I write captures a chapter of my life.
Some posts were born from joyful moments, while others emerged from difficult days that tested my patience and resilience. Every article preserves not just my thoughts but also the emotions behind them.
When I revisit older blogs, I don’t simply read words on a page. I meet an earlier version of myself. I remember what I believed, what I feared, what inspired me, and how life gradually changed my perspective.
That is the beauty of writing.
As Anaïs Nin beautifully expressed,
“We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect.”
Each time I reread my work, I relive those moments with greater understanding and gratitude.
❤️Every Blog Becomes My Teacher
Many people assume that writers exist to teach readers.
I have discovered something quite different.
Writing teaches the writer first.
Every time I begin a new blog, my thoughts may feel scattered, but by the time I finish, they become clearer.
Questions find answers, confusion turns into understanding, and ordinary experiences reveal extraordinary lessons.
Writing has become my favourite form of self-discovery.
As Julia Cameron reminds us,
“The beautiful thing about writing is that you don’t have to get it right the first time.”
Each blog is another opportunity to learn, improve, and become a little wiser than yesterday.

❤️Measuring Growth Through Words
- Personal growth rarely announces itself.
- It happens quietly, one day at a time.
- When I compare blogs written years apart, I notice subtle yet meaningful changes.
- My writing has become calmer.
- My opinions have become more balanced.
- I have learned to listen more carefully before reaching conclusions.
- I no longer feel the need to have all the answers. Instead, I have learned to appreciate thoughtful questions.
As Winston Churchill wisely observed,
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
Every blog represents another courageous step forward, regardless of how perfect or imperfect it may be.

❤️My Readers Are Part of My Journey
Although I consider myself my favourite blogger, this journey would never be complete without all of you.
Every thoughtful comment, encouraging message, and respectful disagreement enriches my understanding.
Many of my blogs begin with a question raised by a reader.
Others are inspired by conversations that continue long after an article has been published.
Writing may begin in solitude, but blogging becomes meaningful because it creates a community where ideas are exchanged with kindness and respect.
For that, I remain deeply grateful.
❤️Learning from Other Bloggers
My answer certainly does not mean I ignore the work of other writers.
Quite the opposite.
I admire bloggers who challenge assumptions, tell authentic stories, and encourage meaningful conversations.
Every writer has something valuable to teach.
As Ernest Hemingway wisely said,
“We are all apprentices in a craft where no one ever becomes a master.”
Those words remind me to remain humble. No matter how much I write, there will always be something new to learn and someone new to learn from.

❤️The Greatest Voice Is Your Own
In today’s digital world, it is easy to compare ourselves with others.
We often admire another person’s style, success, or popularity and wonder if we should imitate them.
But writing is not about imitation.
It is about authenticity.
As Oscar Wilde famously said,
“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”
The most meaningful blog is not the one that sounds like everyone else—it is the one that reflects the writer’s true heart.
That is why I continue following my own blog. It reminds me to remain genuine, curious, and open to growth.

❤️My Final Thoughts
If someone asks me again, “Who is your favorite blogger to follow?”, my answer will remain the same.
I follow my own writing because it tells the story of who I was, who I am today, and who I hope to become tomorrow.
At the same time, I remain grateful to every blogger whose words inspire me to think differently and write more honestly.
Perhaps the greatest purpose of blogging is not to gain followers or collect admiration.
It is to document a life that never stops learning.
Because when we write with sincerity, every post becomes more than an article—it becomes a milestone in our personal journey.
Thank you, dear friends, for reading, reflecting, and growing alongside me. Your encouragement inspires me to keep writing, keep learning, and keep becoming a better version of myself.
Until next time, stay curious, stay authentic, and never stop writing your own story.

BE HAPPY… BE ACTIVE… BE FOCUSED… BE ALIVE
If this post inspired you, show some love! 💙

I believe appreciating our own writing isn’t about ego—it’s about recognizing our growth and valuing the journey we’ve taken. If we don’t believe in our own voice, it’s difficult to share it with confidence.

Through writing, I learn to express myself through words to strangers. I learned to use better words that satisfy me first since I read my work multiple times. I agree, Verma.

Writing is such a beautiful journey of self-expression. Like you, I often reread my work several times—not just to improve the words, but to make sure they truly reflect what I feel. It’s amazing how writing teaches us to communicate more clearly, thoughtfully, and authentically.

I’m really glad my answer resonated with you. For me, choosing my own blog wasn’t about claiming it’s the best—it was about appreciating the journey it represents. Every post captures a lesson, a memory, or a moment of personal growth, and that’s why I enjoy revisiting it.

Dear Verma ji,
What a profound and beautifully articulated reflection. Your words resonated with me on so many levels, and I found myself nodding along as you described the journey of writing as a mirror to the soul.
Your perspective that the “greatest voice is your own” is a powerful reminder in a world where we are often tempted to look outward for validation and inspiration. The idea of your blog being a “personal mirror” and a “teacher” is both humble and wise. It takes a great deal of self-awareness to recognize that our own story is the one we are most intimately connected to, and that in documenting it, we are not only recording history but actively shaping our future selves.
Your honesty about learning from other bloggers while ultimately following your own path is a beautiful balance of humility and self-respect. As you so wisely quoted, “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” That is a truth that is easier said than done, but you have shown us how it can be lived through the simple, courageous act of writing.
Thank you for sharing this piece of your journey with us. It is an invitation to all of us to not only read your story but to reflect on our own. You have inspired me to look at my own writing with new eyes and to appreciate the quiet but profound growth that it documents.
Keep writing, keep reflecting, and keep being the wonderful, authentic voice that you are. Your journey is a gift to all who are lucky enough to read it.
Warmly and with gratitude,
Srikanth

It means a great deal to know that my thoughts resonated with you and encouraged you to look at your own writing from a new perspective. I have come to believe that writing is not just about sharing ideas—it is about discovering ourselves, one page at a time.
Every blog becomes a small chapter in our journey, preserving not only our experiences but also the lessons they quietly teach us.

A painting session usually makes the day a day of deep introspection and soulful peace. I too painted a bit earlier and now I am working on my poetry manuscripts. It started with just one, now I am working on three simultaneously. Have a wonderful evening Sir, a most sparkling evening to top off a grand day and may you enjoy a most peaceful and restful night.

I couldn’t agree more—painting has a remarkable way of quieting the mind and allowing the soul to speak. It is a form of meditation, where every brushstroke becomes a conversation with the heart.
How wonderful to hear that you’re now working on three poetry manuscripts! That is both exciting and inspiring. It speaks to the abundance of creativity flowing through you. I hope each manuscript grows into something uniquely beautiful and brings you the same joy in writing that your readers will one day experience in reading.
