Welcome to My Writing Portfolio
Hello friends,
I hope this blog finds you in a cheerful mood. I love writing, and blogging has become a significant part of my life over the past four years.
Through blogging, I’ve gained a wealth of experience that I’d like to share with you today. Welcome to “My Writing Portfolio.”
The Journey of My Creative Work
My writing portfolio is a testament to my passion for creativity, encompassing everything from art to lifestyle.
My work spans diverse media, including drawing and painting. You can explore a wide range of my creative artwork, which reflects my journey and evolution as an artist.
Recently, I’ve also ventured into creating an art journal, where I document my creative process and artistic inspirations.

Stories and Poems: My Literary Endeavors
One of my greatest joys is storytelling. Over the years, I’ve written 250 stories and 151 poems, all of which are published on my blog.
Each piece reflects a part of my soul, capturing moments of joy, sorrow, triumph, and introspection. My stories range from heartwarming tales to thought-provoking narratives, while my poems explore the depths of human emotion and the beauty of the world around us.
In addition to my blog posts, I’ve published three books titled “Meri Kalam Se, Ek Adhuri Prem Kahani and Chala Chal Rahi.
And I have two more books currently in the works, set to be released on Amazon soon. Writing these books has been a fulfilling journey, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

Exploring the World Through My Lens
Traveling is another passion of mine, and I love to blog about my journeys. Whether it’s a domestic getaway or an international adventure, I cover every detail in my blog posts.
Through my travel blogs, I aim to share the beauty of different cultures, landscapes, and experiences with you all.
Each post is a vivid account of my travels, complete with tips, photos, and personal anecdotes.

Sports Journal: A New Venture
I have a passion for Table Tennis along with cricket. Recently, I’ve started a sports journal with a special focus on IPL matches.
As an avid sports fan, I use this journal to delve into the exciting world of cricket, with match analyses, player highlights, and behind-the-scenes stories.
It’s a new and thrilling addition to my portfolio that I hope will resonate with fellow sports enthusiasts.
Embracing the Digital Age: My YouTube Channel
In addition to writing, I’ve embraced the digital age by starting a YouTube channel named “Retired Kalam.”
On this channel, I’ve published over 1000+ videos and garnered 700+ subscribers. My videos cover a variety of topics, including art tutorials, travel vlogs, storytelling sessions, and more.
Each video is crafted with the same passion and creativity that I pour into my writing, offering viewers a dynamic and engaging experience.

You are far more organized than me. Last night I had some time and I started cataloging all my stories that been published in books.
I’m curious about the book publishing process. My friend and I have a book coming out in the end of July.
I’m starting to get more involved in the process.
But right now I’ve been a little preoccupied with our move.

That sounds like a really interesting moment to be in—half-creative archive, half-life logistics with the move happening in the background. That combination can feel a bit chaotic, but also kind of meaningful, like you’re seeing your work from a higher vantage point while everything shifts around you.
And honestly, cataloging your stories is already you stepping into the publishing mindset in a real way. That’s not just “organizing”—that’s building your own little editorial map of what you’ve created over time. Most people don’t do that until much later, if at all.

Grats, Sir V! Your online portfolio is proof positive of your prolific and wildly diverse output.
If I may suggest though….perhaps you could create a sidebar of categories (daily prompts, fiction, poetry, art, travel, sports commentary, pop culture, personal, etc.). That way, it’s easy for us, your fans and readers, to find topics and specific posts.
By way of an example, if I’d like to go back to your post about Bollywood and my comment about Aarya, I don’t think I’d be able to find it. It’s like looking for a needle in a haystack. 🙂

Thank you so much—that really means a lot 🙏
And that’s actually a very sensible suggestion. You’re right… as things grow, what once felt like a lively stream can start turning into a bit of a maze. I hadn’t fully stepped back to see it from a reader’s perspective, but the “needle in a haystack” point hits home.
Creating categories (and maybe even tags) would definitely make it easier to navigate—especially for pieces people want to revisit, like that Bollywood post you mentioned. I like the idea of organizing it without losing the spontaneity of posting.
Really appreciate you taking the time to point this out. It’s the kind of feedback that genuinely improves the experience for everyone reading along 🙂
