Some connections don’t arrive with noise or intention—they grow quietly, in the spaces we didn’t realize were waiting to be understood.
This poem shows a gentle closeness in which nothing is hurried and everything feels important. It’s about feeling at ease with someone and finding a sense of home within yourself.
# You Became Mine #
I didn’t know
I was waiting for you.
Not in a grand way—
no wishes,
no dreams with your face in them.
Just a quiet space in me
that felt a little empty
on some days.
And then you came—
not to fill it,
but to sit beside it
like you understood.
You didn’t ask me
to be better,
or brighter,
or anything more
than what I already was.
You just stayed.
And somehow,
that was enough
to make me feel
like I was enough too.
Now it’s the small things—
the way I think of you
without trying,
the way your name
feels softer in my mind.
And I don’t know
what this is yet.
But I know this—
if you ever feel tired
or lost in your own thoughts,
I want to be the place
you come back to.
The same way
you became mine.

This poem is truly heart-touching Verma ji. 💛
The beauty of such connections is that they arrive quietly, without noise or conditions, and somehow make us feel whole. Reading this feels like someone understood that quiet, empty space within and simply chose to be there with nothing more than their presence, yet it changes everything.
“Real love is the one that makes you feel enough just by being there.” ✨

That truly means a lot—thank you.
Sometimes feelings sit quietly within us, waiting for the right words to bring them to life.
I’m really glad my words could resonate with yours.

Thank you so much for such a deeply felt response. 💛
You’ve expressed it so beautifully—that quiet space within us often doesn’t need words, just presence. And when someone truly understands that silence, it creates a connection that feels complete in itself.

Good morning, and thank you so much for your thoughtful and heartfelt reflection.
I truly appreciate how deeply you understood the essence of those lines. The idea of becoming a place where someone can return—comfortably, willingly, and with peace—is indeed something very meaningful. It’s not just about love, but about creating an environment of warmth, trust, and quiet acceptance.

That’s beautiful. Sometimes the most meaningful relationships come about when you don’t expect or seek them out. And the best ones are where the other person values you as you are. You conveyed that so well.

Thank you—that’s such a thoughtful reflection.
I truly believe what you’ve said… the most meaningful connections often arrive quietly, without effort or expectation, and somehow feel the most real. There’s something deeply comforting about being seen and valued just as you are, without needing to become anything more.
I’m really glad that feeling came through in the words. It means a lot that it resonated with you so naturally. 🌿

Thank you so much—that truly means a lot to me. I’m really glad the poem could touch you in that way. Sometimes the simplest emotions, when felt deeply, find their way into words most naturally.
I appreciate you taking the time to read and share your kind thoughts—it’s always encouraging.
