# I Define My Love #

In the hush of everyday moments, true love reveals itself not in grand declarations, but in the quiet strength of presence and choice. This poem beautifully captures that essence.

# I Define My Love #

I define my love by how I stay,
Not by the words I rush to say.
It’s in my patience, calm and true,
In how I listen, how I choose you.

My love is soft, but never weak,
It speaks through actions more than speech.
It grows with time, it learns, it bends,
And walks beside me—not ahead.

I define my love as steady ground,
Where fear grows quiet, hearts feel sound.
If love is real, this much is true—
I define my love by loving you.❤️

  2. Beautifully said—love is shown in consistency and presence, not just words. Staying, showing up, and choosing each other quietly every day—that’s the heart of true devotion.

  3. Well said. Love is not always excitement, passion and butterflies in the stomach. It is being there for and thinking of the other first and not asking for validation of the things you do for each other. It is being there through thick and thin. Thanks for sharing. Allan

  4. What a beautiful read. This poem reminds us that true love rarely makes noise; it reveals itself in permanence, in listening, and in the silent choices of everyday life. To love as presence, and not as a promise, is perhaps one of the most mature forms of love. There is a serene strength in these verses, reminding us that love doesn’t need to impose itself to be profound: it recognizes itself in walking side by side, on the firm ground that quiets fear. Thank you for sharing this delicate piece with us, my friend! 🙂🙏🏻✨🎀💐
