# Shadows of Passing Time #

Where the bench once rested,
now only emptiness remains,
a quiet echo of laughter,
A silent space, of fleeting rains.

It sits elsewhere now,
another place, another view,
but does its heart remember
the moments it once knew?

The tree that cast its shadow,
branches proud, reaching high,
once a refuge for birds above,
a soft embrace for wandering eyes.

Roots clawed deep into the earth,
searching for strength to hold,
yet even the oldest giants
must one day grow old.

Time moves like a gentle thief,
carrying what we cannot keep,
and still, in silent memory,
we treasure what runs deep.

Pause, then, while you can,
and see what’s here today—
for beauty blooms and fades,
Yet in our hearts, it stays.
