# Who Are You?

The poem explores the feelings of longing and love, capturing the pain of desiring someone you cannot fully know.

With vivid imagery and gentle reflections, the poem expresses the beauty and hurt of holding someone in your heart.

Who Are You?

Who are you…
A shadow I’ve never touched,
A dream I’ve never held.

What are you…
A whisper in the silence,
A melody my heart cannot forget.

You are the answer I’ve been seeking,
The longing I can’t name,
The smile that hides a thousand untold stories.

If only dreams could step into my world,
I would hold you,
And the world would finally make sense.

So who are you, and why so true?
A dream, a wish, a soul I pursue.
Nameless, faceless, yet ever near,
You are the love I hold most dear.

  3. So true in life we either cross paths of someone we desire but are unable to acquire or we long for someone that is only a figment of our imagination…until we meet the one that belongs to our soul.

    Excellent poem.

    Thank you

    • Thank you so much for your beautiful reflection 🌷.
You’ve expressed the essence of the poem perfectly — that delicate space between longing, imagination, and destiny. Sometimes,
it’s in that very yearning that the soul finds its true belonging. 🙏💫

  5. A beautiful and profound poem that reminds us of the Being we bring into the world. We can accurately describe what they will be like physically, but we will never understand how their minds and personalities are formed. We only have a few theories based on verification experiments and follow-up studies. I believe we provide the matter, but the spirit is something divine that we do not yet understand. This desire to have a descendant truly exists in every woman, especially when it is a desire she sometimes knows she cannot achieve, as in the case of infertility. Many subject themselves to various means of obtaining the desired Being. Science has worked hard on this. Best regards!

    • Thank you for sharing such a profound reflection.
You’ve captured the delicate mystery of creation and the limits of human understanding beautifully.
Indeed, while science can guide us and provide insights into the physical aspects of life, the essence, spirit, and individuality of a being remain beyond our full comprehension.
The longing to bring life into the world is deeply human,
and the emotional journey, especially in the face of challenges like infertility, is both poignant and universal.
Your words remind us of the balance between the tangible efforts of science and the intangible wonders of the spirit.
Truly inspiring thoughts — thank you for sharing them.
