# Living My Creative Life #

Hello dear readers,
I hope this blog finds you in a joyful and inspired mood.

There was a time in my life when the word “creative” seemed distant. I was immersed in spreadsheets, numbers, and deadlines. My world revolved around finance, order, and routine.

But life, as we know, is the greatest teacher—and sometimes it takes the quiet of retirement to hear the loudest calling from within.

Today, I live what I like to call “my creative life.” It’s not about being a famous artist or a best-selling writer. It’s about waking up with a curious heart, a playful mind, and the courage to express what stirs my soul.

It’s about rediscovering parts of myself that were buried beneath obligations, but never truly lost.

Creativity, to me, is not limited to a canvas or a poem—it is a way of being. It’s the ability to see the world with wonder. To find rhythm in the raindrops, color in the ordinary, and poetry in everyday life.

It’s in the way I now mix paints without rules, write blogs with honesty, and explore emotions through verses and visuals.

Living creatively means giving yourself permission to play, to experiment, to fail gloriously, and still try again—because the process itself is the joy.

My brushes, colors, and sketchbooks are now my best companions. I never imagined I would love abstract painting, but here I am, pouring feelings onto canvas with wild strokes.

Sometimes the colors are bold and bright—echoing joy. Other times, they’re subdued, mirroring silence or thought.

Painting taught me something beautiful: You don’t need to explain your expression to the world. You just need to feel it.

Each piece I create may not hang in a gallery, but it hangs proudly in my heart. And when I share them through my blog, I feel connected—not only to others but to a deeper part of myself.

Along with art, I found immense peace in words. Writing blogs, poems, and short stories allows me to reflect, express, and connect. I often write about memories, emotions, values, and the small moments that shape a big life.

In words, I find clarity. In storytelling, I find legacy. And in poetry, I find a home.

There’s something profoundly healing in writing. It slows the mind, opens the heart, and makes sense of even the messiest thoughts.

Whether it’s a nostalgic tale from childhood or a musing on life’s paradoxes, every word I write makes me feel more alive.

One of the greatest blessings of living a creative life is that you are not bound by perfection. There are no deadlines, no external judgments, no corporate expectations.

Just the pure joy of making something that wasn’t there before—something that is uniquely yours.

For years, I didn’t know I had this creative side. Perhaps it waited patiently while I built a career, raised a family, and fulfilled responsibilities. But now, it has found its time and space—and I embrace it fully.

Creativity doesn’t ask for age, status, or skill. It only asks for sincerity.

Living creatively has made me more present. I notice the details now—a bird’s flight, the colors in a cup of tea, the texture of silence.

This awareness seeps into everything I do. It makes every walk, every conversation, and every ordinary day feel extraordinary.

When you live creatively, you don’t escape reality—you enhance it.
You begin to shape your life like a work of art, full of intention, color, and meaning.

Perhaps the most beautiful part of this journey is sharing it—with friends, readers, fellow creators, and my dear granddaughter.

I want her to grow up knowing that life is not just about duties—it is also about dreams. That creativity is not a hobby—it’s a birthright.

Through my blog and art, I hope to spark a little light in someone else’s path. Maybe a reader sees a poem and feels understood. Maybe a painting reminds them of their own forgotten passion. That, to me, is the true power of creativity.

Living my creative life doesn’t mean every day is perfect. Some days, the paint doesn’t flow, the words don’t come, and doubt knocks on the door.

But even in those moments, I find beauty—in trying again, in learning, in simply being aware of the gift of self-expression.

So if you’re reading this and wondering whether you too can live creatively, let me say this:

Yes, you can.
Pick up that pen.
Open that sketchbook.
Sing, dance, cook, garden, doodle—whatever stirs your soul.

Life is too precious to be lived only by routine.
Let your heart create.
Let your spirit dance.
Live your creative life—fully, fearlessly, and joyfully.

Until next time,
Vijay Verma
