In quiet moments of reflection, the mirror transforms into a storyteller. This poem, “Mirror of Me”, explores memory, growth, and identity.
It reflects a life once filled with dreams, influenced by routine, and now rediscovered through creativity. Each wrinkle holds wisdom, and every smile carries untold stories.
Mirror of Me
I look into the mirror each day,
Not just to see my hair turn grey.
I search for stories in my eyes,
To keep my spark and dreams alive.
I see a child who once had dreams,
A man now caught in daily schemes.
Now a poet with a heart so wide,
Finding calm where colors hide.
The mirror shows both joy and pain,
Sunshine mixed with drops of rain.
The quiet thoughts I never speak,
The strength I find when I feel weak.
I see a smile that time has drawn,
A soul that’s soft, yet bravely strong.
Not just a face, but all I’ve been—
The zigzags of life I’ve lived within.
So when I stand and look at me,
I find a life both wild and free.
The mirror whispers, clear and true—
“I still believe in all you do.”
