Hello dear friends,
I hope this blog finds you in a cheerful mood and a hopeful frame of mind.
Today’s writing prompt has stirred something deep within me:
“What are you most excited about for the future?”
This seemingly simple question is like a window flung open to a world of dreams, possibilities, and transformations yet to come.
For someone like me, who has seen the sun rise and set over many decades, the future is not merely a continuation of days—it’s an opportunity to evolve, explore, and leave a legacy.
And believe me, I am more excited now about the future than I was in my youth.

1. Embracing the Ever-Evolving Self
First and foremost, I am excited about personal reinvention.
Gone are the days when the later years of life meant slowing down.
Today, retirement is no longer a sunset; it’s a second sunrise. I’ve discovered new talents—writing poetry, painting vivid canvases, making short videos with heartfelt emotion, and connecting with people around the world.
Each new day offers a chance to learn a fresh skill, express a forgotten emotion, or polish a long-buried dream.
The thrill of becoming excites me—becoming more creative, more reflective, and more aware.
2. The Rise of Creative Expression
I am most thrilled about the future of storytelling and art.
Technology has now become a friend of the artist.
With just a smartphone and an idea, I can transform a thought into a digital painting, a memory into a blog, or a whisper of the soul into a poem that may resonate across continents.
Creative platforms have democratized expression. The young and old alike now have tools to share their truth, their stories, and their imagination with the world.
The thought that my voice, once tucked away in a bank ledger or buried in busy routines, can now inspire others is a profound and joyous realization.
I am excited to see where this path leads—perhaps to exhibitions of my artwork, to a published poetry collection, or even a feature on a storytelling platform. The canvas of the future looks bright and full of possibility.

3. A Legacy of Positivity and Presence
More than material accomplishments, I look forward to building a legacy of joy and wisdom. I want to be remembered as someone who celebrated life with poetry, dance, laughter, and gratitude.
As my granddaughter grows, I am excited to share stories with her—not just bedtime tales, but values disguised as metaphors. I wish to be a part of her memory, a warm figure in her inner landscape.
Passing on the torch—not in a ceremonial sense, but through the glow of everyday moments—is a future I deeply cherish.
4. Technological Wonders and Human Potential
The rapid rise of AI, space exploration, biotechnology, and digital learning is both astonishing and energizing. As someone who spent years working with numbers and finance, it excites me to now witness how technology and compassion can merge to build a better world.
Imagine a world where diseases are detected early, learning is accessible to all, climate issues are addressed with intelligent design, and art is preserved and enhanced through digital tools.
And yet, amidst this innovation, the human spirit remains central. That excites me most—the promise of balance between progress and purpose.
5. The Joy of Ordinary Days
Not every excitement lies in the grand scheme of things. Some of it lies in the simplicity of ordinary life—the idea of waking up to a fresh breeze, enjoying a cup of green tea with a poem in hand, or dancing slowly with my partner under a rainy sky.
I am excited about stillness too—because in silence, life whispers its deepest meanings.

A Future Built on Hope
So, what am I most excited about for the future?
Everything that allows me to live with purpose, connect deeply, express freely, and love endlessly.
I believe the best is yet to come—not because it will be perfect, but because I have learned how to embrace it.
Dear reader, I invite you to pause and ask yourself:
What are you excited about for the future?
Let that question guide your steps and illuminate your days.
As for me, I’ll continue painting, writing, dreaming—and sharing it all with you.
With love and hope,
Vijay Verma

I was a Good painter once, leaned it all by myself, by about age 12 I could draw accurate pencil portraits…but that sperm is lost….running behind my parents’dreams, I stopped drawing, painting and handicrafts a long time ago…but getting back that passion and finding time to paint again one day still exides me….

Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt reflection. 🌟 It’s never too late to reconnect with the spark that once lit up your soul. The artist in you never truly left—it’s just been waiting patiently beneath the surface, ready to breathe again. 🎨💫
Sometimes life pulls us in different directions, but the dreams that are truly ours always find a way back. I believe that passion is still alive in you, and when you do pick up the pencil or brush again, it will feel like coming home. Wishing you the joy of rediscovery—and may your hands once again bring to life the beauty your heart holds. 🖌️🌈

Your optimism is remarkable. I sometimes see the world with a rain cloud hovering over it. You see sunshine.

Thank you for your kind words. ☀️
I believe both the raincloud and the sunshine are part of life’s beauty—they each have something to teach us. Some days I’ve felt the storm too, but I’ve learned that even rain nourishes growth.
If my words bring a little light, it’s only because I’ve walked through my own shadows and still choose to hope. And you know what? Even a sky with clouds can have rays of gold breaking through. We’re all just helping each other find them. 🌦️💛

As a preacher of Jesus Christ, we do not need your human compassion. You hypocrite.
In Jesus we pray.
God bless.
You do not comprehend the things of GOD! Repent and believe baptized!
Again! Repent, and be baptized!
I say that warning again! Repent, and be baptized!
