The poem reflects on how the soul grows a garden of memories throughout life’s seasons. Each flower symbolizes emotions, moments, and people who have impacted us—some bring joy, others sadness.
Even as time passes and life brings hardships, this inner garden flourishes, cared for by memory and nurtured by lasting love.
The Gardener of My Heart
The years, like seasons, come and go,
And in their wake, small gardens grow.
Not tilled by hand, nor sown with seed,
But bloomed through time and quiet need.
Each memory, a fragile bloom,
That lifts the heart, dispels the gloom.
A whispered word, a gentle touch—
Meant to be little, yet means so much.
The roses blush in laughter’s light,
Like summer days—so warm, so bright.
While violets bloom in shades of blue,
For sorrows past that saw me through.
Forget-me-nots in tender rows,
For faces gone that no one knows.
But I, who walk these paths alone,
Claim every petal as my own.
Though winter winds may strip the vine
And age may steal the youthful shine,
This garden in my heart remains—
Still fed by love and healing rains.

Awesome poem Verma ji 🌷🤝
This beautiful poem tenderly captures how memories—both joyful and sorrowful—root themselves in the soul like a timeless garden. Love and loss intertwine, yet the heart’s quiet resilience keeps them blooming, even through life’s winters. A touching reflection on the enduring power of memory. 🌸
