Yes, that’s 1,500 mornings of waking up with a purpose, 1,500 evenings of reflection, and 1,500 opportunities to share thoughts, poems, stories, and dreams with you all.

As I step into the 5th year of this vibrant blogging journey, I can’t help but marvel at how time has flown. What began as a post-retirement curiosity has now become an essential part of my identity.

🎯 A Resolution That Changed Everything

At the dawn of this year, I made a simple yet powerful resolution: Post one blog each day. Some days brought excitement, others posed challenges, but I stayed true to my word.

Even when life felt overwhelming, writing became my refuge—a way to breathe, express, and grow.

Achieving this streak wasn’t just about numbers. It was about commitment, discipline, and self-belief. And yes, thanks to your warm appreciation, I never felt alone on this journey.

🏊‍♂️ Swimming at 63: A Dive Into New Possibilities

This year was not without its challenges. Yet amid life’s trials, something magical happened—I learned how to swim at the age of 63.

For years, I was content watching others swim, especially my granddaughter. But one day, inspired by my doctor’s advice and nudged by a friend’s encouragement, I took the plunge—literally!

From barely managing a single lap, I now swim five days a week, sometimes completing up to 20 laps. It has revitalized my body and spirit, and more importantly, reminded me:

“It’s never too late to start something new.”

✏️ Sketching My Emotions

Alongside words and water, colors and sketches have added beauty to my life. This year, I’ve created 900 drawings so far, with my eyes set on hitting the magical 1000 mark before year-end.

Art has become another language for my soul—a canvas to express what words sometimes cannot.

🌍 Travel Dreams in Action

Age is just a number, and my spirit remains young at heart. This year, I fulfilled a long-cherished wish—a family trip to Vrindavan. It was serene, divine, and filled with the chant of Radha-Krishna.

Next on my list is Mayapur in West Bengal—a spiritual haven where devotion meets beauty. Travel nourishes the soul, and I plan to keep exploring every corner of wonder.
