“A Dream I Still Carry”

There’s a weariness that lingers in my breath,
Echoes of moments — a soft dance with death.
Yet, in the shadows, a fragile smile I’ve kept,
A quiet dream, where old sorrows have slept.

At every turn, some ties and tales fell apart,
Still I carry them deep, stitched into my heart.
Some smiles are born behind a veil of tears,
And songs still echo through forgotten years.

These fragile remnants — broken, yet kind,
Act as a compass to my wandering mind.
Though lost in the crowd, my voice rings true,
I cling to truths, and questions old and new.

A simple grace, a fire burning bright,
A quiet passion, holding back the night.
In silent corners, my story softly burns,
A chapter unwritten, waiting its turn.

No crown of gold, no worldly prize I sought,
But a deeper beauty in myself I’ve caught.
The road was rough, the nights long and wide,
Yet every fall taught me how to rise with pride.
