# India Creates History Again!

Cricket fans around the world witnessed yet another historic moment as India defeated New Zealand by four wickets in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

This triumph adds another golden chapter to India’s cricketing legacy, reminiscent of their past glories in world tournaments..

This victory not only underscores India’s dominance in the tournament but also adds another glorious chapter to their rich cricketing history.

New Zealand, opting to bat first, set a competitive target of 252 runs. Daryl Mitchell’s resilient 63 and Michael Bracewell’s unbeaten 53 were instrumental in anchoring their innings.

India’s spinners played a pivotal role, effectively curbing the run flow and securing crucial breakthroughs.

Chasing 252, India encountered early setbacks, with the top order struggling to find momentum.

However, the experienced duo of Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul steadied the ship. Jadeja’s composed nine* and Rahul’s steadfast 34* guided India to 254-6 in 49 overs, sealing a memorable victory.

This triumph is reminiscent of India’s historic 1983 World Cup win under Kapil Dev’s leadership. Back then, India defended a modest total against the formidable West Indies, marking a turning point in Indian cricket.

The 2025 Champions Trophy victory mirrors that spirit of resilience and determination, reinforcing India’s stature in the cricketing world.

As the team celebrates this monumental achievement, fans worldwide are reminded of the enduring magic of cricket—a sport where moments of brilliance can etch themselves into history, inspiring generations to come.

Jadeja Said After India’s Win!: That is how it is with me; sometimes a hero, sometimes a zero. The wicket was not easy for a new batter. Hardik and KL were great. Winning the CT is a huge thing. If you don’t win a big tournament after playing so long, it hurts.
