# Goodbye, My Child #

This heartfelt poem shows a mother’s last moments with her son. It highlights her deep love, sacrifices, and the gifts she leaves behind as she says goodbye.

The poem expresses both sadness and comfort, reminding us that a mother’s love never disappears—it remains a guiding light.

Goodbye, My Child

Resting my head in your arms, I sing my final song,
My son, I now depart, to a place where souls belong.

I once held your tiny hands, and taught you how to stand,
And today, these very hands, caress me soft and grand.

For your peaceful sleep, I spent countless sleepless nights,
Now my fading breaths surrender to twilight’s quiet light.

In every joy of yours, my blessings always stayed,
Now the time has come, and yet, my heart delays.

Don’t cry, my child, don’t give me pain,
Let your mother go in peace, without a heavy chain.

Your journey ahead will shine so bright,
My prayers will guide you, like a lamp of light.
