Dreams That Never Fade

At childhood’s dawn, I dreamed so bright,
Of soaring high, on wings of light.
 Through winding paths and skies unknown,
I chased those dreams, made them my own.

Midlife arrived, a golden hue,
With dreams once distant, now in view.
 I stood atop the hills I had climbed,
 And heard the echoes of my time.

But what remains when peaks are won?
When battles fade with the setting sun?
Is there no more to wish upon,
No whispered dream to hold upon?

Oh, dear life, so kind, so vast,
Reminds that dreams never pass.
For now, I dream a dream so true,
Not just for me, but for them and you.

A dream to give, a dream to share,
To lift the hearts that lost in despair.
To light a flame where dark abides,
 For the warmth where hope resides.

The journey of dreams never truly ends,
For love and kindness still transcend.
Here I stand with hands stretched wide,
A heart unchained, and a soul untied.

dream anew, with wiser eyes,
To leave a gift that never dies.
This life has given, rich and free,
 Now my dreams will tell, all to see.
